Rajesh will be covering why connected medical device security is important now, go over a Security case studies, Secure Development LifeCycle (mainly threat modeling, static code analysis, secure design, best practices, security testing), FDA premarket requirements, and a bit about post-market requirements.

Rajesh Kanungo is the Co-Founder &CEO of TalaSecure, Inc.  TalaSecure ensures that connected medical devices are secure and meet FDA security requirements. Prior to TalaSecure, Rajesh headed security at Itron, Sling Media/DishNetworks, TrustTone.   Rajesh has been responsible for security hardening of 12+ million secure devices in the field like smart meters, set-top/media devices, email appliances, etc. with no known hacks. Rajesh has 30+ patents in security and other technologies. Rajesh got his Btech  Electronics from  Indian Institute of Technology and an MS Computer Science  from West Virginia University.
