Event Topic:
Scaling a genomics research services organization

Event Description:
The talk will focus on the market opportunity for genomics research service organizations. Frameworks to assess the opportunity for Next Generation Sequencing services for biomarker research and to leverage the genetically rich South-Asian cohorts for supporting studies in rare diseases will be focus points in the presentation. With decreasing costs of sequencing, informatics to derive insights out of NGS data is gaining importance. I will discuss a few of our experiments to provide a seamless service from sample receipt to data and analysis delivery to our clients. In an attempt to brainstorm on the key value propositions that a service provider can offer to its clients.
