Event Topic:
Motion Preservation & Non-Invasive Adjustability in Scoliosis Treatment

Event Description:
Auctus Surgical is commercializing a novel vertebral body tethering system to treat pediatric scoliosis with an adjustable non-fusion approach. The system is to specifically address this minimally-invasive treatment option for adolescents who otherwise would be facing complex fusion surgery. The system allows both freedom of movement and growth of the child’s spine after surgery. Most importantly, the surgeon can adjust the tension on the implanted device non-invasively at any time so that it can grow with the child. There are many other spine/orthopedic indications for the platform.
