Pal Khangaldy has over 20 years of packaging experience. He worked for one of the leading package and product testing laboratories in the country for 18 years as a Director of Engineering, and later served as a packaging consultant in the medical industry. He worked closely with numerous industries including medical device, BioMed and pharmaceutical. Pal also taught laboratory packaging courses and helped teach packaging dynamics and the packaging capstone course at San Jose State University. His experience includes managing a team of up to 12 engineers, writing packaging protocols, specifications, packaging design, packaging dynamics, and testing. He is well known in the industry for his packaging knowledge and customer service skills. He also served as a VP of Publication for the IoPP and later sat on the ISTA Testing Council. Pal is now the Packaging Technical Consultant at Nelson Labs and subject matter expert for package validation, package integrity testing and package design. As a Technical Consultant, Pal helps with packaging questions and difficult-to-solve packaging matters. He writes detailed protocols, specifications and test plans for medical device and pharmaceuticals.
