Michael Reo, CEO of Synopsis, will be moderating the panel “Translation – From Idea to Product”, which will also include:

Michael L. Reo is a 26-year veteran of the medical device industry, and currently serving as the CEO of Sinopsys, Inc., an ENT medical device company. Prior to his CEO role, he was the Chief Operating Officer and formerly the VP of R&D and Operations. In prior years, he ran a full-time consulting business and held executive and engineering positions in his client’s companies. As well, he has served as an engineer and leader in medical device companies such as Peripheral Systems Group, Ventritex, Kyphon, Ventrica, Spinal Kinetics, and HourGlass Technologies.

Martín Vasquez has 25+ years of progressive, cross-functional leadership experience in operations, product development, and quality assurance of class I-III medical devices. Prior to Outset, Martín was VP of North America Operations and Global S&OP at Abbott Rapid Dx (formerly Alere). He brings a solid track record in operations strategy planning and execution, quality, and product engineering in companies with highly regulated supply networks including Becton Dickinson, Carefusion, Smiths Medical, Greatbatch, Alcon, and Ethicon (J&J).

William G. Mavityis an experienced medical technology leader, who has served as the chief executive of: a subsidiary of a Fortune 50 company (3M Company); two publicly traded companies (NASDAQ: InnerDyne Medical and Cohesion Technologies) that were acquired by larger entities; and five private companies, over a 28 year span. He has worked in the medical technology arena for more than 35 years. Mr. Mavity is currently a member of the Boards of Arrinex and ReThink Medical, is an advisor to ReThink Medical, Sinopsys Surgical, Micro-Leads Inc., and serves on the Medical Advisory Council of FLEX Health Solutions.

Currently, he occupies the position of President, Chief Executive Officer & Director at Dextera Surgical, Inc.
