His portfolio has included cardiac and cardiovascular surgery, neurosurgery (spine and skull-base), vascular and neurovascular surgery, orthopaedic surgery, and wound care. Originally from Milford, Connecticut, Michael lived 12 years in Latin America, speaks Spanish natively, and is fluent in Portuguese. Michael’s experience spans from opening new markets to transitioning international distributors into subsidiaries, to managing large-scale vertically integrated subsidiaries. He is familiar with the financial, commercial, legal, compliance, regulatory, and human resources dimensions of establishing and managing each type of international sales and marketing channel.
