LifeLeaf: The Truly Non-invasive Continuous Glucose Monitoring Wearable

Abstract:

LifePlus presents a broad overview of its flagship product LifeLeaf, a truly non-invasive continuous glucose monitoring wearable smartwatch, one of the first of its kind. In this presentation, we provide a high-level description of the wearable device, the science behind it, its salient features and functionalities, the entire solution platform (IoT-App-Cloud) and its target market – the benefits it offers to a broad segment of adults predisposed with diabetes or hypertension.

Presenter Bio:

As the VP of Marketing at LifePlus, Sweta Moitra is responsible for identifying target markets and defining go-to market strategy for the upcoming products of LifePlus, especially its flagship product LifeLeaf, a truly non-invasive continuous glucose monitoring wearable smartwatch, one of the first of its kind. Sweta holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Physics.

IoT based architecture of wearable health monitoring  by Dev Bhattacharya

Abstract:

IoT generates a large volume of data from wearable sensors. There are multiple issues including large latency, security and privacy for processing these large sensor data sets in cloud computing architecture. Edge processing of sensor data with local nodes can provide faster, secure results to patients.

Presenter Bio

Dev Bhattacharya, is currently a chair of the Consumer Electronics Society of IEEE section of Santa Clara Valley. He is a technical leader in various IoT systems and has over 20 years of experience in leading the system, hardware and firmware development of complex IoTs and embedded systems based on various sensors and devices.

Dev has a master’s degree of Science in computer and systems engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and has successfully led and managed development of system architecture, system hardware, firmware of consumer-grade, IoT and complex embedded system products with sensors, networking, wireless and multi-media from concept to volume production at various companies including Cisco, Intel, Logitech, Moog Crossbow and Rockwell Collins.
