For nearly 20 years, Adam Tachner has provided high-growth semiconductor companies with the cross-functional business leadership they need to thrive in competitive markets.  Adam is currently VP Corporate Development and CLO at Groq, Inc.  Previously, as head of the legal and compliance functions at Atheros Communications (acquired 2011 by Qualcomm for $3.6B), Adam supported the company’s rapid growth from a pre-revenue innovator to a market-leading IPO and a $1B annual revenue run rate. Later, he helped integrate Atheros into Qualcomm’s global operations. Most recently, Adam held both VP Corporate Development and General Counsel roles at Google’s Access division, and earlier at fabless MEMS leader InvenSense, now the sensor division of TDK.

Boris Tankhilevich, CEO, Magtera, Inc.

Dr. Boris G Tankhilevich has Ph.D. in quantum magnetism from the  Academy of Sciences of the former Soviet Union.

Upon emigrating to the USA from the former Soviet Union in 1987 and after graduating from Hastings College of the Law in 1993 Boris Tankhilevich, Esq., a registered patent attorney, has obtained 160 US and numerous foreign patents for his clients.

Boris Tankhilevich and Adam Tachner are co-founders of Magtera, Inc. with the purposes to provide an efficient source of Terahertz radiation, that is voltage-tunable, covers the whole Terahertz region from 3-30 THz thus closing the so-called THz gap, that is operational at room temperatures, and can be mass-produced by using the existing technologies. Magtera has substantial patent portfolio including 20 US and several European and Chinese patents.
