Join us on June 23rd for the weekly update with BIONews and then a video of a recent presentation by Michael Snyder of Stanford entitled “Big Data and Individual Health.” Following the news and presentation, we will have an open forum.
Michael Snyder, PhD, is the Stanford W. Ascherman Professor, MD, FACS, and Chair in the Department of Genetics and Director of the Center for Genomics and Personalized Medicine. At this talk, Dr. Snyder will demonstrate the power of using advanced technologies (genomics, immunomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics, microbiomics, and wearables, etc) and longitudinal profiling to better manage human health, detect disease early, and follow how people age in an actionable time frame. He will cover longitudinal profiling during pregnancy, revealing a metabolic clock that predicts gestational age and time to delivery.
The meeting will begin at 8:30 AM. If you’d like to join us, please click on the ZOOM link https://us02web.zoom.us/j/85043660945 . We will open the link at 8:15am to allow some “virtual networking” prior to the meeting.
Please encourage other B2DG life science professionals to attend our event.
We hope that you will give this a try, but please check out our website each week for updates on invited speaker details.
Stay safe and healthy!!
