Event Description:
When it comes to safety, the FDAs mission is to ensure that drugs and devices that are potentially harmful to patients are immediately removed from the market. In this 1-hour session, we will review the reasons for the 2020-2021 recalls and warning letters for drug, medical device, and combination products. GMP training certificates can be provided with proof of attendance.

Lisa Helmonds is Vice President of Quality & Operations for MWA Consulting, Inc. She has over 30 years of industrial training in the areas of Manufacturing and Quality Assurance in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries. She has extensive GxP knowledge, has worked with several startups and large companies, and understands the challenges facing the industry. She holds a BS in Zoology from the University of Rhode Island and an MBA from Santa Clara University.
