This talk will focus on drug delivery systems with a focus on nanoparticles. Dr. Oduk will support this talk with his data from his projects in a variety of medical research fields such as in kidney and heart. After an introduction to the nanoparticle drug delivery system, he will get into details of his "VEGF nanoparticles repair the heart after myocardial infarction" article. Dr. Oduk will also talk about the use of nanoparticles in current vaccine technology for COVID 19.

Dr. Oduk is a Physics Ph.D. who focused his training and research in the medical field. He always saw himself as a research entrepreneur as he received the "Graduate Entrepreneurship" award for his dissertation project in Malignant mesothelioma. After his postdoctoral training in Cardiovascular Research/Biomedical engineering at UAB, Orthodontics at Columbia University, he founded his company Nanomedicine LLC.
