We will overview recent thinking in the regulatory domain on real-world evidence, and discuss the value of using real-world data for improving patient outcomes. Next, we will explore the key concepts of cloud computing, and how it addresses issues posed by previous 'big data' solutions. However, poor resource planning can lead to unexpectedly high costs.
