 Description

 Hangzhou Bay New Zone , located at the south side of Trans-Hangzhou-Bay Bridge, enjoys both the convenience of easy access to 4 major cities in the Yangtze River Delta Region: Shanghai, Ningbo, Hangzhou and Suzhou, and the economic advantage of lower cost of living.

The planned area is about 174,000 acre with half land area and half sea area. There are about 230,000 residents in the area with an annual GDP of over 58 billion RMB. The healthcare sector is a major focus of the New Zone. So far, there are over 70 healthcare enterprise reside in the area including Pharmaron, Merck etc. with investment exceeding 10 billion RMB.

BioVillage, a garden style biotech park designed with international standards, covers 16 acres of land.
